Common questions

Is my number a medical prediction?

No. LifeMAX is an estimate to think with, built from population life tables and published research — not medical advice, a diagnosis, or a prediction. Real medical questions belong with a doctor.

Where does my data go?

Nowhere. Everything you enter stays on your device. There are no accounts, no ads, and we never see, collect, or sell anything you log. Details in the privacy policy.

My number moved less than I expected. Why?

By design. Nothing jumps in LifeMAX — the clock drifts toward where your habits point at a bounded pace, about a day or two of life per real day. Quick fixes don't exist in the research, so they don't exist in the app.

Can I start over?

Yes — Settings, then Start over. It wipes your baseline, milestones, and journal on that device. There's no penalty; the questionnaire simply runs again.

Why don't I see UV alerts working?

UV sun alerts are temporarily unavailable in the current build while we sort out a certificate issue with Apple's weather service. They'll return in an update — the toggle in Settings will tell you the moment they're live.
